Latest release: the version below. Every file is checksummed; the installer verifies them for you. v0.6.0

Cockpit for macOS (Apple Silicon)

The desktop app. The disk image is the usual drag-to-Applications install; the zip is the same app.

Not notarized yet

The app is signed with a development certificate but is not notarized by Apple. A disk image or zip downloaded in a browser is normally marked as downloaded from the internet, and macOS will refuse to open an unnotarized app with that mark. Files fetched with curl are normally not marked, and the installer uses curl.

If you dragged the app to Applications and macOS refuses it, clear the mark once:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/crossweave Cockpit.app"

The installer downloads and checksum-verifies cw and cwd into ~/.local/bin and, on Apple Silicon, unpacks the Cockpit into ~/Applications. It does not install the .dmg, clear any mark or use sudo.

Install the CLI (and the app)

One line installs cw and cwd, verifies their checksums and, on Apple Silicon, installs the Cockpit too. It uses no sudo and does not edit your shell profile.

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NMHx2005/crossweave/main/install.sh | sh

The installer needs curl, a POSIX shell, awk, sha256sum or shasum, and unzip (for the app, which it installs only when the release carries it and the machine is Apple Silicon). crossweave itself needs git. The compiled binaries do not need Bun.

Prefer to do it yourself? Download cw-<platform>, cwd-<platform> and checksums.txt from the release, check only those two files (grep -E " (cw|cwd)-<platform>$" checksums.txt | shasum -a 256 -c -, or sha256sum -c - on Linux), then chmod +x them and move them onto your PATH as cw and cwd.
